Beware: Fake tax office envelopes are circulating

Recently, blue envelopes have been delivered in several places in the Netherlands that are not from the Dutch Tax Office. These envelopes contain a letter from an activist group. Although the color of the envelope closely resembles that of official tax office mail, the fake envelope has white borders around the envelope and the window.

The letter contains a QR code and refers to a website that is not affiliated with the Dutch Tax Office. You do not need to take any action with this letter regarding your tax matters.
The official envelope from the Tax Administration is completely blue, without white borders.
