Digital filing dividend taxes

Starting July 1, 2024, the Dutch Tax Office (Belastingdienst) will require all dividend tax declarations and statements for dividends distributed from 2024 onwards to be submitted electronically. The tax office will no longer process paper forms for these submissions.

There are three accepted methods for electronic submission:

1. Through Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk (My Business Tax Office) portal
2. Using accounting software
3. Via a tax service provider

For dividends distributed up to and including 2023, taxpayers can still use the paper forms for their tax declarations and statements.
