Berthing fee (precariobelasting)

You are required to pay a berthing fee, known as "precariobelasting", if you own or use a commercial or passenger vessel, or a houseboat.

How it works

If your vessel is moored in public municipal waters, you must pay the berthing fee. Even if you are not the owner but are the resident or user of the vessel, you are responsible for paying this fee. In cases of vacancy, the owner is liable for the payment.
