Every year, Rotterdam-based entrepreneurs receive one or more municipal tax assessments. The taxes you pay as a business owner depend on the type of business you have. This page provides an overview of the different taxes and what you need to do.

What taxes do I pay as a business owner?

At the start of the year, most entrepreneurs receive the municipal tax assessment for non-residential properties. Owners of non-residential properties pay Sewerage Charges and Property Tax (OZB). Users of non-residential properties pay only the OZB user charge. Non-residential properties include offices, shops, factories, or undeveloped land.
