The Dutch government provides subsidies to lower the costs of formal childcare. These subsidies, which can be substantial, are known as the childcare allowance (‘kinderopvangtoeslag’). They can lower your childcare costs by up to 80%, depending on the level of your income. But applying for this allowance and keeping your details up to date can be a complex process, and it needs to be done in Dutch. We can apply for and maintain this childcare subsidy for you.
